Dr. Caralyn Leonard has her roots here in Georgia, moving to Stone Mountain with her family in 1974. She graduated from Tucker High School in 1975, The University of Georgia in 1979, then from The Medical College of Georgia in 1983 earning her Doctorate of Dental Medicine.
Dr. Cari resides in her hometown of Covington, Georgia where she practiced dentistry for 34 years before semi retiring in 2015. She loves every minute of serving her patients whom she considers family and her community. She considers herself fortunate to have known such wonderful people over the years. It is easy for her to enjoy staying current in the Continuing Education Courses designed for the disciplines of General Dentistry including Cosmetic, Restorative, Oral Surgery and Endodontics.
Dr. Leonard is a member of the ADA, GDA, The Fifth District Dental Society and The Covington Rotary Club. She serves as a Board member of the Rockdale Houses for Men and Women, The Global Foundation for Dental Healthcare and Awareness,Inc. and is a member of The First Baptist Church of Mansfield.
Along with her love of patients and dentistry, she enjoys helping others in need. She participates in Dental Mission trips abroad as well as at home. She is passionate about her family including her husband Dr. Leon Leonard, an Orthodontist in Conyers, 2 grown sons, Matthew and Mark and a daughter in law, Katie. Not to mention the most recent addition of her grandson, Noah. She stays active with her 2 dogs, marathons and traithlon events making her life complete and full of sunshine.
